How ravin cables engaged people with its brand at the global business summit


Ravin Cables is one of India’s leading power cable manufacturers and it was one of the sponsors of the prestigious Global Business Summit, organised by the Times Group.

The GBS is a flagship initiative of the Times Group that brings together each year visionaries, thought leaders, heads of state, policy makers, academicians and corporate heads to drive an agenda for economic change. Celebrities ranging from Shah Rukh Khan and Ekta Kapoor to Minister of Transport Nitin Gadkari and PM Narendra Modi were present at the event.

Ravin Cables, as one of the prime sponsors at the event did not want to be just one of the mentions in the speeches or a logo on the backdrop. It wanted to engage with the people walking in to create a greater impression and a long lasting imprint on their minds. The client employed Hashtag Printer to that effect and achieved the desired results of having the attendees create UGC for the brand. Of a total of 200 people who came to the stall, 80 posted on social media with the hashtag #RavinAtGBS. Not only did this help create UGC but also provided for some real engagement of the people with the brand at the venue.
