How samsung penetrated deep into its young audience for its new phone with UGC

With the objective of promoting its new range of phones – J6Infinity, Samsung held events across various colleges. Hashtag Printer was a huge hit with the college students for the simplicity of its working and how they got a print of their picture almost instantaneously after posting it on Instagram. Considering that this entire young audience is social media savvy, the response was exceptionally encouraging. Of the 800 people who attended the events across various colleges, the brand registered a total of 500 hashtags. Not only did it give credible publicity to the events but also to the brand which came across as a young user’s choice of phone.
